As part of the Regional Partners strategic discussion, a range of themes were identified. These were used as a basis of the listing of further work areas and projects that were prioritised and are detailed in Section 9.

The themes that were identified were seen as activities that could mitigate against the risks presented as a result of the projected changes to the climate for the Region, that were presented in Section 4.
